What does Squawk Seven cover that other aviation sites do not?
It stays on the operating layer: air traffic control, regulators, safety oversight and the economics underneath all of it. Aircraft types, cabin products and holiday flying are somebody else's subject. Safety here means findings and oversight, not spotting.
Do you report on individual accidents?
Only through what investigators and named publications have put on the record. Safety summarises published findings, preliminary reports and oversight action, and it does not speculate about a cause while an investigation is open.
How are sources credited?
Every piece names the publication or document it draws on and links to it, and a claim traceable to a single source is attributed to that source in the text. Where the source is an official report, the piece says which one. Nothing is copied verbatim.
How often do new pieces appear?
As the sources publish. In practice that is usually several times a day, and nothing at all when nothing is reported, so the News feed reflects the flow rather than a schedule.
Is the site connected to any regulator or trade body?
No. Squawk Seven is independent of the regulators, air navigation providers, carriers and trade associations it writes about, and takes no funding from them.
Something is wrong in an article. Then what?
